Bare or painted concrete outdoors fades, flakes, and grows slick; pavers shift and sprout weeds. A coated deck is one seamless, textured surface that rinses clean — and a full-broadcast flake system (our specialty) gives it a decorative, granite-like finish that ties the whole outdoor area together.
Around water we take grip seriously: texture is tuned for wet feet, from family pool decks to community walkways. It’s the same real-photo, prep-first install we bring to every job — ground, repaired, coated, and finished to last outside.
Standard epoxy yellows in direct sun. Outdoor work should be finished with UV-stable topcoats — ours is, on every exterior job. If an installer doesn’t bring this up, ask why.
A pool deck isn’t a garage. We tune the anti-slip texture for barefoot, wet use — and can vary it between covered and open areas.
Outdoor concrete is sun-baked, stained, and often previously painted. Grinding it back to sound concrete is what makes the coating hold.
